The Canterbury Inn of Downtown Invermere

Room was dirty, floors uneven. Hair in the bathroom sink. 180 bucks for a tiny room.

Worst place we stayed on our trip. Place needs lots of work

This hotel is worth $50 a night. Very run down. The fridge wasn't plugged in, the bed feels like an air mattress, the shower was dirty and repairs were done with tape in several places around the room. Wouldn't stay here again if you paid me. They need to invest in the property. Terrible. Room smelled lile smoke too, and in the reviews they say its the air freshener, it is not the air freshener, as ours was all dried up anyway.

It’s okay for stop over

Made a last minute trip to Invermere. I’ve stayed in plenty of basic motels and you get what you pay for. I always look on previous reviews for cleanliness and this one didn’t measure up to what I read before booking. Loud neighbours awoke us 3 of 4 nights.

Very polite happy to help guest services. Old building and could use new quieter air conditioners.

motorcycle guys next door...smoking pot outside and came through our A/C ;( was clean, but beds were hard.... pot smell coming from outside ;(

If all you need is a bed and a shower for the night, it'll do. I got the "cheapest" room and boy was it spartan. I've been in cruise ships with bigger rooms. The bed was broken down where one would naturally sit to get in and out of it. But the center was comfortable enough. The room was not dirty, just warm, scratched and scuffed. The porcelain coating in the toilet bowl was cracked so it looked dirty, but it wasn't. The AC was missing the temperature adjustment knob, but you could still adjust the temp if you can grip the little spindle. The hot and cold water knob in the sink were mismatched. But everything in the bath worked. I was put off by the brown towels rather than white. They looked clean, but the brown color can hide a lot. The staff was super friendly. It seems the owner/operators live on site.

Excellent location and price. Room as expected but the outside could use a definite cleaning.

The bed was fine, but the bathroom was not the cleanest. Definitely a bit seedy.
