Smithy Cottage, Perthshire

Very peaceful and weather was exceptional for our weekend which made relaxing at cottage great. Although a remote location we ventured to Dunkeld and Blairgowrie to get essentials and walk the dog.

Shower curtain lol. Small double bed but that's just being picky and our own thoughts.

Everything was perfect.

On one level. Very clean and fully equipped. Only 4.5 miles from Blairgowrie where there are various shops and the best fish from The Chippy that I have ever tasted.

The cottage had everything required for our stay, all the rooms were a good size and our dogs had plenty room to move about. The enclosed garden was handy for the dogs as the road was surprisingly busy. Although we never met the owners there was good communication and quick replies to any questions.

A beautiful little cottage, extremely well appointed and in a lovely location. It was clear that the host, Bev, had gone to great lengths to create a home from home environment. Super pet friendly and a short distance from 'Bluebell Wood' in which our pet dog enjoyed a leisurely walk. I can highly recommend this property for a short or long stay with or without pets. A very memorable experience.

There wasn't anything not to like. The cottage was exactly as described. I would just point out the fact that the WiFi signal during our stay was extremely weak, but fortunately, 4G reception was excellent. I mention this just in case strong wifi signal is a requirement during your stay.

Garden secure for my dog, bed comfortable . Lovely accommodation.
