Absolutely gorgeous house. A little getaway and gorgeous garden and views. Steve's breakfasts were top notch as well

We stayed one night - if your not looking for 'hotel standard' but something more homey and quirky and friendly and out in the country, and possibly another era - this is it!

The owner Steve was very accommodating, friendly and made us feel most welcome.The accommodation was clean, cosy and very peaceful. There was a good choice for breakfast and tasty.Would recomend to stay if wanting a quiet break.

Lovely stay and a great host

Stayed for one night while exploring the Bradford-on-Avon area, and it was absolutely lovely. The room was beautiful, featuring charming decor and authentic beams that truly captured the feel of a countryside cottage. Breakfast was excellent, offering a variety of choices, including cooked options, juice, fresh jam, and cereal. Highly recommend it!

A beautifully remote stay in a picturesque location. Steve was a lovely host, and a pleasure to chat with at breakfast. The breakfast was delicious. We are both vegan, and Steve catered to our needs without problem.

Quite simply, this is a lovely cottage in a lovely location with a very friendly host. And a great breakfast!

A stay at April Cottage is a like stepping back to a time where everything’s real and comfortable and old-from the heavy oak beams to the inglenook and carved sofas, the family photographs and ornaments, the piano corner and the dining table beautifully laid for breakfast, with linen napkins and an array of traditional English breakfast choices. Steve was attentive and friendly -a wonderful host. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a great ensuite-unusual for a character property. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to everyone seeking an authentic taste of English life.
