Warkworth House Hotel

Very dog friendly and great location. Staff extremely welcoming

The location was very good, many of the staff were very helpful, and it was wonderful to have hot chocolate as well as tea and coffee in the rooms !!

The manner adopted by some members of staff on the reception desk was disappointing. It would be pleasant if there was a lounge area for residence to sit in other than the small bar or dining room which filled up up very quickly when we were there.

Great location. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It felt like a home from home. The breakfasts were delicious, fresh and hot. We had dinner there one night and it was excellent. We liked the little fridge next to the room which contained fresh milk for a cuppa. Comfortable, pretty twin room. The hotel is very near to bus stops to travel to other places along the coast, and to Newcastle. Great for a short trip into Alnwick or Amble.

Parking was abit of a nightmare.

Our room was clean and comfortable,our request for a walk in shower was met,thank you. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was beautifully presented and delicious. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout our stay.

As the weather was beautiful it would have been good to have outside area to relax with a coffee but this did not spoil our stay.
