Yellow House

Spacious and well equipped, so if you are travelling as a large group, this house comes highly recommended. Given the location, serves as a good base for Castlebar or the general Galway/Westport area. Jimmy was a great host, and promptly handled any requests/queries, and was even very pro-active with suggestions for things to do/see in the local area. Fireplace was set on arrival, which acted as a welcoming touch. We travelled here during Ireland's colder months, but the garden and surrounding areas are well kept, so for the summer months guests will have use of an attractive surrounds/garden too.

The host was very helpful throughout and gave plenty of information to us about the area and what is available to us throughout our 2 week stay. House was lovely and clean, very comfortable and in a great location. Will definitely be back

Can’t fault

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Westport and to the Yellow House. It was a wonderful weekend and the house was perfect for our family to get together to celebrate a big birthday. Jimmy was very helpful before, during and after our visit. I highly recommend
