I’m a returning customer—and that’s not an accident. For the past two years, Keanah has been exceptional in her service. Not just “polite” or “professional,” but attentive in a way that feels human. She remembers faces. She notices energy. She checks in without hovering. There’s a steadiness to how she shows up that makes you feel like you can exhale. The good: Keanah is consistent. Whether it’s a busy day or a quiet one, she doesn’t rush you. She explains things clearly, answers questions without making you feel silly for asking, and genuinely seems to care that you’re comfortable. That kind of service isn’t scripted—you can feel it. The just OK (because honesty matters): Like anywhere, timing can be hit or miss depending on how crowded things are. Sometimes there’s a wait, sometimes things move slower than you’d like. But what makes the difference is that Keanah communicates. You’re never left guessing or feeling ignored. The real reason I return: I trust her. Trust is everything. Especially when you’re tired, traveling, celebrating, or just trying to get through the day with a little grace. Tips & recs for folks coming through: • Ask questions—Keanah is generous with information. • If you’re having a long day, say so. She meets people where they are. • And if you receive good service, say something. It matters more than we think. Good service is rare. Consistent care is rarer. Keanah delivers both. And that’s why I keep coming back.

Every hotel to me is basically the same. I stay in them quite often. I am a diamond for life member but people like Logan Jose and Darolyn or what make a hotel better also the bald restaurant manager I have been here for over a month and I have zero complaints

The location and the front desk staff

The indoor pool was freezing cold and we couldn’t use it which was very upsetting as we picked this hotel for the pool. I could hear a dog barking in the room next door late into the night as the room walls were thin enough to allow us to hear entire conversations in the rooms next to us.

The rooms are very nice, beautiful lobby, friendly front desk employees, but the hotel restaurant is too pricey and boojie, it doesn’t make any sense. Their menu at the Nectar hotel restaurant has entrees that cost $50 and some even more yet a room for the night is under $150, so dinner for two with some drinks will probably cost equal or possibly a little more than the price of one hotel stay. However, the mall is about 5 minutes away from hotel and there’s lots of options at the mall and around the mall.

So I am staying at the Doubletree in Fairfield Nj with my mom and my grandma. The three of us will be going to Totowa tomorrow. It is a very nice hotel. The service both at the front desk and at the restaurant was good. The fried mozzarella was good. The pool was also nice and the best part is that mom and I were there by ourselves. The hotel room that we are staying is nice as well. And other good part is that there is ice and a washing machine and d dryer down the hallway from our room but we won't need it. The only downside is that the toilet in our room is too low for my grandma but she says that she will be fine with it.

This was a very pleasant stay that exceeded my expectations! The lobby and dining areas were immaculate and beautifully decorated for the holiday season. The rooms were comfortable, clean and appropriately stocked with everything we needed. The best part about the stay was the friendly, responsive, and professional staff. Everyone was welcoming and helpful in particular Nabil who was warm and professional from check-in to check-out. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve ever had and we were grateful to have so many delicious options to choose from. The selection easily accommodated our varying dietary needs and the service met top notch hospitality standards. This overall stay was a good value for our money and we plan to make it our hotel of choice when we visit family in the area again. :)
