Le Château de Philiomel

The room had been renovated but using the same or similar materials as the original and without removing the old features. A modern bathroom and toilet had been fitted perhaps in an old dressing room and a cupboard . The doors were made in full replica of the main doors. It was very spacious and with plugs and lights in the best places. One got further into the grand old life by eating breakfast in the vast dining room.

It was not their fault but the only proper restaurant in Lillers was shut for vacation and one had to drive into Béthune.

This is an amazing place to stay. And the host is beyong praise. Surely coming back here.

Personnel très agréable dans un cadre magnifique et au calme. Petit déjeuner délicieux et copieux avec jus d'orange pressé. belle expérience je recommande.

Endroit très sympa dommage que le lit soit un peu petit

Gelukkig had ik gelezen dat je om er te komen door een nogal armoedige wijk moet rijden dus daar waren we op voorbereid. Eenmaal op de oprijlaan waan je je in een sprookjesbos met aan het eind een ietwat vervallen kasteeltje, maar de kamer was verrassend ruim en aangenaam. Het ontbijt heel goed verzorgd en lekker. Een aanrader!

Nous cherchions un lieu tranquille où dormir car nous avions un mariage à quelques km de là. Chambre spacieuse , endroit calme ,très beau parc et super petit déjeuner Nous y reviendrons
