Blu Monkey Hotel Suratthani

We have been searching for a place to stay in Surat Thani downtown. We would like to explore the night markets and some tourist attractions in the city and nearby. This place was a great choice for ones would like to have simple room with economy budget. The room is new and has sufficient amenity including safe deposit box which I did not expect. We booked via LINE and the staff responded to us simultaneously so we were assured that everything would be seamless. We love the thoughtful local breakfast and coffee corner. It seems like the owner of the hotel really loves bicycle riding we saw few bicycles at the lobby. Staffs are friendly and helpful. We love food in Surat and if we have an opportunity to go back we definitely go to Blu Monkey and would recommend you to stay here if you need stress-free accommodation.

Brand new hotel, looks great en everything is really modern. Staff is friendly. Beds are a bit hard but enormous and neatly made with cool white sheets and big pillows. The bathroom is next to the bed and is equipped with a curtain in stead of a door. Not a problem for everyone but I prefer a bit more privacy. Couldn’t figure out the AC, came with a remote but seemed to only be turned on or off, would have preferred to turned it down some. The price of this hotel is super reasonable, you get a beautiful en clean room. If you don’t mind sharing an open bathroom, great place to stay.

Good price for quality. Rooms very clean and nice. Simple design but very aesthetic. A rooster wakes us outside the window. The silence of this place gave us a moment of rest after a noisy journey from Bangkok.
