Riverside House

Very close proximity to Callander Main Street & Tesco. Quick walk into town where you can have a walk around the shops and go for a nice meal and a drink and safely walk back. Very quiet and peaceful with a beautiful garden over looking the river. Breakfast was excellent, we chose a full cooked and a continental. Yoghurt would be better in individual pots. Great range of spreads and condiments. Loved the fresh rose in the bedroom. Friendly cheerful welcome and conversations with hosts.

The view over the river is very beautiful. The breakfast was delicious and our hosts absolutely amazing.

What am absolute gem Riverside House is. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel like old friends. This is an example of how to get it right and we will be back. Thank you for a friendly, comfortable, great value stay with a fabulous breakfast.

There is nothing to dislike. I would have appreciated bath sheets rather than towels.

It was very clean and we had a lovely view of the river. We had the best breakfast cooked by Brian the host and Valerie could not be more helpful, she even booked us into the restaurant at our next destination. I forgot to mention the proper tea cups and the views from our from!

The stairs, we had two big suitcases as we’ve been travelling for 4 months, but that wasn’t the property’s fault

The venue had such a beautiful garden and we had the garden room. The view of the river was brilliant. Brian and Valerie made the visit memorable and were such lovely people

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Gorgeous hosts and very welcoming. Felt like I was staying at home on the other side of the world!

Had such a lovely stay, the owners were so accommodating. Genuinely looking at when to come back. I took advantage of a rare child free night and slept through breakfast, but they knew that and I got fresh coffee and a sausage and bacon roll when I got up for check out.

Good sized room, clean, comfy. Fried breakfast ok, but a little cool and pre prepared, i.e. bacon over cooked, mushrooms cool and black pudding still had the wrapping on

Riverside location, loved sitting and watching the bird life around the river. Also short walk into town for dinner in the evening.

Fridge was noisy - but very glad to have it available in the room.

Homely feel. Lovely extras like home baking, fruit and chocolate as a celebration gift and the china tea cups were delightful. The decor was cute and random yet fitted together, I especially liked the Peter pan picture. Private access to the river was a bonus

The bed was a bit firm for my taste.
