Days Inn by Wyndham Alamogordo White Sands

I was stressed out when I first pulled in because the place is rough on the outside, but the room was recently renovated and was very nice. It was clean and quiet. The person at the front desk was super helpful.

Just the outside, which ultimately didn’t matter much.

Air conditioner is extremely loud

Breakfast was bare-bones, but what one would expect from a bargain-priced property. Bathroom was clean, and the shower worked well. TV was easy to figure out.

The property could have honored its commitments. I requested a ground floor room, and shortly after reservation confirmation came a text, telling me the ground floor was a done deal. No single-bed ground floor rooms available at check-in, so clerk offered a ground floor room with 2 beds. I said okay, but it was an extra $10. I declined. If a property makes a mistake the property should make good on it; this property didn't. There are lots of hotels in Alamogordo. Doubt this property will see me again. Also, bath towels were harsh, and key cards did not work on the first try.
