Mansala Safari House

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und geräumig. Die Lage der Unterkunft war top – zentral und trotzdem ruhig. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und sympathisch, sodass man sich direkt wohlgefühlt hat. Auch das Frühstück war super: Es gab eine große Auswahl, sodass wirklich für jeden etwas dabei war. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

The staff were so very kind and genuine. They were very helpful and very hospitable. They did everything they could to make it a positive experience and stay, even organising a safari and transfers! I was blessed with a beautiful breakfast but felt so wasteful because it was too much to eat! Even a little welcome drink and snack was so kind and thoughtful!

The property was in a great location to get to safari and nearby activities. The room was very spacious and clean with a lovely bathroom. The beds were very large and comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic and the hosts were so lovely and friendly throughout our entire stay. We booked our safari via the host which was super easy and a fantastic experience. Would highly recommend!

Where lovely property with nice friendly owners. Simple rooms with good beds.

The owners were so lovely and helpful - there was a big storm when we stayed there and they came and reassured us that the power would come back on soon! They also made us breakfast for when we got back from safari, and offered to make us a packed breakfast had we preferred that! They really made us feel like we were being welcomed into their home, which was so nice. You’re a short walk from restaurants on the main high street, too, which is helpful as there’s no dinner option on site.

The facilities are quite basic - we only stayed for one night but I can imagine a longer stay would have been more difficult due to a lack of pool etc. The outdoor bathroom was great but also a bit scary in the early morning with all the bugs!

We had dinner and breakfast at Mansala and both were amazing, the staff was incredible and so kind. The cook was not working due to the Sri Lanka New Year and they still pulled it together to cook us an incredible meal. The chicken for dinner was the best I had in Sri Lanka. They also organized a safari that picked us up from the accommodation and was great.
