Beautiful facilities Helpful staff Central location

We had what could be an adjoining room but wasn’t for our stay We didn’t know the guests in the room next to us but they were whining to the poor staff about every little thing The hotel has a quiet time to help guests sleep. We were not even making any noise but the idiots next door rang reception one minute after quiet time started to complain we were being too loud The lady came up and asked us to be quieter which we complied to One minute later before the staff member could even get back down stairs the phone in the room rang because the losers next door had already phoned and complained they could hear talking The talking was the staff member coming to the door because of their earlier complaint. They phoned a second time 30 Seconds after the staff got them off the phone from the first round of ridiculous whining You are not babies if you are tired go to sleep People talking in the next room is not excessive noise If you want to excessively whine about any little thing you can including small amounts of noise from next door in room 26then stay home or better still go camping in the bush in the middle of nowhere so nobody else including the hotel staff or your neighbours has to put up with your arrogant self obsessed attitude.

Location and facilities.

Parking is very expensive- I would make this my weekly work accommodation however the $$$ parking rules this out.

Excellent stay at Sofitel Brisbane thanks to Raj. He made a real difference. Quick, attentive, and focused on solutions. You see his friendly impact in the team. Great service from start to finish.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

My room and even the whole floor had a very strong musty/mouldy smell and felt like it needed a really good clean. The room/bathroom/air con were all very dated and would benefit from a renovation. For the price point, I was expecting an elevated experience, this was unfortunately not the case.
