The location is excellent. I just wish that they explained better how to reach the hotel by car and all the ZTL rules. It turns out that they can provide the license plate to the police so you can reach the hotel, which is in the ZTL, to load/unload the car. We learned this the last day. Also, it is in the historic center but very quiet at night.

The breakfast is somewhat limited but OK.

This was my second time staying at this property — the first time I stayed with my husband and we noticed that there was only one other room. This time we brought my mom to Italy with us and booked both rooms, so we had the whole property to ourselves. The property is conveniently located right near the San Sabino cathedral in old Bari. The property was Michele’s family home and he has beautifully restored it to accommodate modern needs while preserving its history. Michele was an excellent host and was able to recommend local attractions, like a good lido beach, and even helped with a taxi to the airport. He also set out a beautiful breakfast each morning with local products and coffee made to order.

The stairs are steep — not a problem for us but it would not be good for guests with mobility issues. Michele helped us get our luggage up and down the stairs at check-in and check-out.

Our host went out of his way to make our visit to Bari exceptional. The breakfast was the best we enjoyed during our 7 week stay in Puglia. The accommodation is very comfortable and clean. The host really takes pride in his establishment it has been in his family for 3 generations. Highly recommended!

Nous avions choisi une chambre pour 3 avec 2 pièces (1 grand lit et 1 petit lit); la chambre qui nous a été attribuée ne comportait pas de fenêtre dans la pièce avec le grand lit contrairement à celle présentée sur les photos ( elle avait déjà été attribuée à d autres touristes).
