Leipzig Country House & Winery

Breakfast was nice but quite basic. For a family that does not eat meat, we just had scrambled eggs and mushrooms offered to us as a hot breakfast option - limited but it was lovely. Fruit salad was nice a touch as well as the rusks. A selection of fresh pastries/ cheese would have been good if offered. Fresh water provided. Great family farm stay overall.

Checkout at 11am from the self-catering unit as a standard would be great. We requested a later checkout than 10 am and 11am was the latest time we were offered. Would have been nice to have stayed till mid-day, especially since it was a weekday. The TV in the room in the unit didn't work. The Netflix browser required an upgrade. We are a family of 5 and opted out of the 3-course dinner meal offered, which would have been quite an expensive option for 3 kids. Would have preferred a more casual family friendly dinner option.

Wir hatten ein großes Zimmer in dieser historischen Anlage. Der Raum, in dem das Abendessen serviert wird, ist sehr urig im positivsten Sinne. Wir haben am ersten Abend dort gegessen und das Menü war hervorragend. Auch die Weine des Hauses sind sehr zu empfehlen (und dabei äußerst günstig).

Das Zimmer roch etwas feucht. Es war nicht wirklich gut gereinigt, weder im Zimmer selbst noch im Badezimmer. Auch wurde unser Zimmer - ohne ersichtlichen Grund - nicht sauber gemacht (wir waren zwei Nächte vor Ort). In der Nähe waren kläffende Hunde, was morgens und abends sehr störend war. An unserem zweiten Abend war eine große Reisegruppe in der Unterkunft die ebenfalls sehr viel Lärm machte.

Die Lage und das ganze Hotel war einfach Top 👍👌👍👌👍

Wonderful stay at Leipzig Country House and Winery! Bianca was incredibly hospitable and a pleasure to communicate with. Our long weekend getaway with 6 friends was absolutely perfect, thanks to her warm welcome and the lovely facilities. The beds were super comfortable, and rooms were neat and clean - couldn't ask for more! :) Highly recommend!

Very pretty location, with lovely pool and outdoor area.

The room felt a bit like no-one had been there in a while prior to us being and there was some things that could have felt cleaner.

Very nice, secluded location in the mountains. The staff’s communication and friendliness was exceptional 😊

Maintenance and cleaning need some supervision, especially in the courtyard where we stayed. The beds, linen, pillows and towels need an update. Garden activities in our courtyard at 7.30am was not ideal as we were enjoying our coffee and the surroundings. Later would be good. The breakfast was very average.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft auf einem Weingut, mitten in der Natur mit vielen Obstbäumen, Hühnern, Pferden. Alle sehr freundlich, alles ziemlich idyllisch. Abendessen (3-Gänge) sehr gut mit hauseigenen guten Weinen. Uns hat es dort prima gefallen.

Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist sehr ruhig und entspannt, man fühlt sich willkommen. Die Weinprobe war toll und das Drei-Gänge-Menü am Abend ebenfalls fantastisch. Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft, wenn man Ruhe und Entspannung sucht.

Das Frühstück ist etwas verbesserungsfähig, aber das ist nebensächlich, da der Rest des Aufenthaltes wirklich toll war.
