Sheraton Pittsburgh Hotel at Station Square

Three years since I've stayed at the Sheraton Station Square and fortunately little has changed. I had two rooms which were invitingly clean. We were on the 9th floor facing the Riverhounds stadium and included views of the Mon, the city, Point, Fort Pitt and Duquesne bridges and beyond to the Science Center and Heinz Field. Driving in this trip we took advantage of the parking package. Just remember to have your ticket validated at the front desk after you park if you have this reservation. The beds comfortably the same, to me on a par with the Westin. Complimentary water daily if you opt for housekeeping; coffee/tea, fridge, safe in the closet, iron, ironing board, hair dryer. I was glad for the walk in shower instead of a tub. If you are a sensitive sleeper I would suggest asking for a room facing the parking garage as the trains that pass by are frequent. This was not an issue for me. As were were attending the baseball games, the Gateway Clipper shuttle, the entrance next to the hotel parking lot, was an easy to and from the stadium. The hotel is also a stop on the Hop On Hop Off bus. Go out the door to the parking lot, then walk up the short street to West Carson and the Tour bus logo should be on your right on the sidewalk. I've done this tour several times and enjoy the narrated circuit. Also in the corridor to the parking lot on the ground floor, last door on the right is the guest laundry and it takes your credit card. The staff just added to the stay. Kudos to Ricki for her help and I was happy to see the waitress Bettina still there. My only complaint - there were no Blintzes at the buffet breakfast this time. We had most of our meals at the Factory and were not disappointed. Once again, the accommodating wait staff a plus.

There was at least one wedding and one party with lots of teens making the whole place feel like a spring break destination. Staff seemed overwhelmed and largely absent.

States you can see the city from every room. You can not my view was the parking garage. Also if staying in the hotel the parking should be free!

Room, location and view was exceptional! The pool did not meet my expectations so I didn't use it.

Pool are could be nicer with an outdoor feel and the pool itself could be warmer.
