Houses of Motovun

Clean and comfortable, has everything one might need for a short stay. I stayed in a single room that has its own bathroom, but a common room is available which can be used as a hub for staying with a group of friends, or meeting new people that are staying in the adjacent rooms. It has vintage furniture and a cool vibe, the kitchen and the bar are large enough to make a nice dinner. Livio, the host, was kind and helpful!

Location and privacy

Loud noise outside my room throughout the night, why not put me in some other room? All of which were empty, what's the difference in October in all fairness, anyway all good essentially, nice people, comfortable stay really. Hvala

Beautiful location right in the centre of the old city. Nice to have a kitchen and space to sit down. Great view from the bedroom we were given. Restaurant opposite was reasonably priced and good quality. The restaurant is affiliated with the accommodation.

It was quite a trek to get our baggage from the car park up to the accommodation. It was not easy to find anyone to check out when we were leaving. There was a smell of smoke coming from somewhere inside the apartment. We had to book 3 rooms well in advance but 2 of our children were separated from us when there was a closer room. I had emailed specifically about this and told it would all be fine. It would have been better if we were all given rooms close to one another and the other person booked in was given the room that was a little further away.

The apartment was over three floors with steep steps (not good for anyone with mobility issues) in an old building. The place is full of character and worldly charm however it is, by definition really, quite old feeling. The bathroom consisted of an enclosed shower that was tiny (anyone of a larger build simply wouldn't be able to use it so be warned!) but otherwise we had a lovely stay

Wer hier ein Zimmer findet, eines von fünf oder sechs, kann sich glücklich schätzen. Der Zimmerpreis beinhaltet die 28 Euro, die allein das Parken oben in Motovun kostet - und wenn man dann noch die schönen Zimmer rund um eine hochromantische Wohn/Kochstube sieht, kann man es gar nicht glauben. Wenn ein paar Nächte Motovun, dann hier!
