Friendly and helpful staff. Very close to Malioboro as well as other points of interest. I walked to Taman Sari, Karaton, and Vredeburg. Just under an hour away from Prambanan and/or Ratu Boko by vehicle. Pretty good microsite outlining how to get to attractions, local eating spots, etc. Kitchen facilities, which were nice, since other places I've stayed at in Indonesia haven't had kitchens. Plus a supermarket a couple of streets away. Good sized lockers under beds in the room, too.
People in my room didn't have hostel etiquette: constantly left the room door open, cranked the AC down to 16c overnight.

Liked only the location.
Everything except the location was pretty bad, there is no 24 hour helpdesk, they are always greedy for the money 🤑.Rented a bike from them and the bike's tyre was totally worn out and we had two punctures, had to replace a new tube to continue our travel on the bike and received no refund from the hotel.They said u can take away your new tyre.Had to check in early and were charged on per person per hour basis which came out to a full day stay for just four hours of early check in.They are some psycho frauds.You feel like a slave in this hostel, rules written everywhere to follow.
