Unique old and authentic building, typical style, very charming! Perfect location, very kind hostess.

Comfortable bed, lovely old building

Not really a "didn't like" but just be aware you have a shared living space you cross through to get to your room. One of the rooms (cheaper) has a bathroom which is separate to the bedroom. That's just the way it is! Don't bother with any breakfast options, there are plenty of bars a short walk away. Also there was building work going on with loud drilling. It would have been nice to have been warned about this, but it didn't really bother us as we needed to get up when it started at 0830 anyway!

Decent location. Nice attempt to make look nice. The host was nice.

Picking up keys was joke..gave us wrong keys..could not lock room. Shared space was not so nice. Place smelt of paint over damp. Had access to other residents room ( wrong keys). In old building so noise travelled..could hear neihbours in morning. Weird Christmas decorations still up on shelf.in short..prob OK if you were on budget and 40-50 euros but not worth 100+ euros pn when better available.

The location was great. Far enough away to be quiet but close enough to walk to sites. There are also a number of great restaurants within steps. The decor was very cozy! And the rose left on the bed with a ribbon was a nice touch. I was also very thankful for the bottle of water left in the room with cookies!

I'm not sure I would say there is "an Italian breakfast" - just instant coffee and teabags left near a kettle in the common room and prepackaged muffins that remain there all day. The description of the property was not accurate in saying air conditioning and a private bathroom are present. There is no air conditioning in the bedroom. There is air conditioning in the common area, which you share with other guests, so you cannot leave your door open at night. You have a shower in your room, however you must share a toilet with the other guests. Additionally, due to a gas shortage, there was zero hot water. When I called to check in, as I was at the front door step, I was told I could cancel my booking for a full refund. The offer of a refund was good; the timing of communication was not.
