Review for Taj Aravali Resort & Spa, Udaipur Stay: 2 nights (October 28 to October 30) Our recent stay at Taj Aravali Resort & Spa was a mixed experience. The check-in process was smooth, and the team was kind enough to offer us a late check-out, which we truly appreciated as we had a late evening flight. The property itself is beautiful, maintaining a clean and well-kept environment with a charming heritage look, much like most properties in Udaipur. The resort had a small play area for kids, though with limited activities. We did enjoy a game of badminton (which, surprisingly, was chargeable). On the other hand, cricket and football were complimentary, and there were also some indoor games including pool, which again were chargeable. It was rather disappointing to see basic games being billed separately at a five-star property, which felt inconsistent with the Taj experience. Our first dining experience at their Thali Restaurant on Day 1 was unfortunately below expectations. To add to this, despite being Taj InnerCircle Gold Members, we were denied an upgrade rather curtly at the front desk, which left us disheartened. However, things took a positive turn when we shared our feedback regarding both the food and upgrade with Mr. Hanumant Singh, Director of Rooms. He personally met us, showed us available rooms, and ensured we were promptly upgraded. His professionalism and willingness to listen truly reflected the authentic Taj spirit. Our food experience on Day 2 was significantly improved, and we could feel the difference in attention and quality. The breakfast buffet was good, though not exceptional — both the spread and taste could have been better. Having stayed at several Taj properties across India, we’ve come to expect a certain warmth and consistency that defines Taj hospitality. This time, however, our overall experience — especially with two young kids — felt somewhat suboptimal. That said, a special mention to Mr. Hanumant Singh for his genuine concern and prompt action in addressing our issues. His gesture went a long way in ensuring our stay ended on a positive note.

Amezing thali dinner experience food was very delicious and staff was also mr daya Surendra raghuveer deepak and nirmal ji

The entire experience was amazing. The banquet food and sit down dinner was tasty. Members - Mr. Nirmal, Surender, and Raghuvir, Deepak, and Kabir were helpful and supportive.

The experience was very thrilling and one to remember especially because of the staff and their way of handling and managing everything from room service to dinner table to the set up. I overall had a really great time and i very eagerly want to visit this place again in coming times. at Aravali Lawn,Thalli dinner i was accommodated by the very good gentelman’s namely Mr Surendra,Mrs Rajina,Mr Sagar,Mr Manvendar these three made my experience more beautiful and peaceful then it could have been.
