In this particular instance, I was greeted with a used towel and bar of soap from the previous guest. The room was hastily cleaned up. In general, the quality & service of similar hotels have been going down in recent times. Just the week before, I had stayed at the Hyatt in Tokyo, and there is simply no comparison. The difference is like night and day. I realize these are apples and oranges, but there is a lot the US hotel/service industry can learn from Japan, in terms of customer service and everything else!

Nice hotel, convenient location.

Unfortunately, there was a private event which resulted in the pool being closed for the duration of our stay - would have appreciated a heads’ up ahead of arrival rather than finding out at the property. Equally, the elevators were shut down for most of the stay as well. To be fair, when I pointed these things out at checkout, the employee apologised and offered a free breakfast, but we were already in a hurry.

The environment is good. The inside is very nice

When we arrived (me and family) the front desk lady wasn't professional. She didn't even say (hi welcome or at least smile) one of the elevators was broken so ppl have to wait longer than usual. The room was good but the person who does the cleaning, didn't do it properly. There was some dust inside the drawers.
