Well outfitted kitchen, location was central, clean and updated apartment.

We didn’t like the pillows at all, they could use an upgrade. The shower wand did not stay on the holder which made washing hair a challenge. The bathroom fan was super loud and needs replacing.

Location

I was in a group of six for the apartment/flat we were assigned and it was way too small. The communal area was not big enough for a group of six - the sofa was made up for a bed, so we couldn't use that, so it was four sat at the table and two standing. The flat was very hot - an air circulating(?) machine was provided, but there were no instructions on how to use it, so we just had to use the one oscilating fan provided for the whole flat. There was also a small coffee machine, but again, no instructions on how to use it. The bathroom had no lock on the door - not good when in a group of six. No communication at all from the hosts until a couple of days before arrival, which was somewhat disconcerting. The stairs are extremely steep - not the fault of the hosts of course - but if you have mobility issues of any sort, or claustrophobia come to think of it, this place isn't for you.

Super miejsce na nocleg, wszędzie blisko, spokojna okolica. Jedynym minusem są schody, ale wiedzieliśmy, że tak jest i nie był to dla nas problem, tak to wygląda w takich budynkach. Najlepszy czas w Lizbonie! Polecam

Le scale! Per raggiungere il piano secondo le scale sono molto difficoltose specialmente se con valigie grandi.

We wanted to stay in the Alfama area for this visit. This was good distance from the many of the places we wanted to visit and explore. The check in procedure and communication was easy. It was a last minute booking, as our first booking was flooded from the storm that hit Lisbon. I don’t know if we would have been lucky enough to find this during peak season. The apartment was well stocked if we chose to make meals. This was an “easy” walk from the train station.

There was no air conditioning, which wasn’t a huge problem for us in November. But the bedroom has no windows or air circulation. We travelled with minimal luggage, but the cobblestones and luggage make it tricky. I used a Lisbon Taxi for my early morning flight, so I did not have to deal with the cobblestones in the dark with luggage. An Uber would not be able to access the street. You also need to be able to handle luggage going up steep staircase.
