Hyatt Regency O'Hare Chicago

I mean... If you go to the Regency O'Hare for Acen you probably know what to expect. And You get everything you expect, it's a very positive experience, unless you have some noisy neighbours, but mine were A-ok and honestly for ACEN the Hyatt experience is completely irreplaceable. I would not switch even for 100% discounts elsewhere. If you want full experience this is THE location, period. Rooms are spacey too so you can definitely share.

transportation and bed

Tv was not working and I wanted to watch game and could not. Took almost 1hr from text for someone to show and front desk would not answer by the time he got there game was almost over and he said could not fix because something was cut in renovations. So went to bed cause it was 10 30 pm and had to get up at 3 30 am. Very disappointed because hotel looked amazing and just wanted couple hrs of relaxing cause travel day was ugly. Our flight was canceled so had to reroute to Chicago to get home next day.

Not only was my hotel room exquisite, but the customer service was fantastic! check-in staff like Airielle are the epitome of Day makers in how they greet you and embrace your presence into their establishment.

I rented two rooms. I did checkin for both rooms through the app at approximately 5:00 am on the morning of the first day of my stay. I received a digital key for one room through the Hyatt app before I even arrived. However, I never received a digital key for my second room. Nearly 3 hours after checkin time, the digital key for the second room had still not been delivered. I called the front desk and requested the digital key, but was told I had to come down and speak with someone at the desk to get it. By that time, approximately 6:00 pm, there was a line of approximately 75 people waiting to check in. Even after receiving key cards and the digital key for the second room, I continued to have problems. On the second day of my stay, both digital keys stopped working, and the physical key cards stopped working as well. I called to the front desk requesting my digital keys again, but again was told I had to come to the desk to get the digital key. I was issued new physical key cards. I only received one digital key in the app, and the digital key for the second room never arrived.

The helpfulness of the staff was beyond amazing checking in was quick and easy. After going to our room we realized our key didn't work and I ran back down and another person helped me and got them set super quick and apologized. Going back up we realized the room didn't have the correct accommodations that we needed and I went back down and another staff member helped me. Usually this was be a bit frustrating at this point but all three were super quick to help, apologize, and fix the situation. They didn't make me feel like a bother or an inconvenience in the slightest like I've delt with in the past at various hotels. The best part about it is they did it with a smile and the attitude of wanting to make sure it went as easy as possible this is one of the best interactions I've had with multiple hotel staff back to back over the years. I hope to come back to this hotel again!
