Calgary Marriott Downtown Hotel

Some of the staff were very nice. The room was clean.

The room was too large and very empty. Between the window and the bed was 2.5 meters (10 ft) no man’s land. This gave the room a very desolate feel. It would have been nice to have a desk in this space and a comfortable chair. But there was no desk to work. One lady at the reception was very derogatory. And finally, it was very hard to get to speak to a human at the reception. There was just a very useless answering machine that made me very frustrated. But this would have been ok if the price would not have been this high. When paying top price I expect much more than this.

No bathtub. Noisy on the street.

The staff and the hotel room. The room was lovely and clean. The staff were very helpful. Beautiful hotel.

Nothing to dislike

The location. The cleanliness. And the excellent valet service!

THE LOCATION AND PROXIMITY WITHIN THE CITY CENTRE. IT WAS VERY CLEAN AND THE STAFF WERE VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL.

THERE WAS ONGOING CONSTRUCTION TOWARDS THE EXIT. THE BATHROOMS WERE NOT PROPERLY STOCKED AND REPLENISHED WITH TOILETTRIES SUCH AS TOOTHBRUSH, TOOTHPASTE, ETC; ONLY TOWELS, TOILET PAPER AND HAIR DRYER WERE STOCKED. THERE WAS NO BIDET(HANDHELD BIDET) IN THE BATHROOM. POOR LIGHTENING IN THE BATHROOM. THE BATHTUB WAS TOO SMALL, AND THERE WAS NO PROPER SHOWER(HANDHELD). NO DAILY SUPPLY OF A LEAST A BOTTLE/JAR OF DRINKING WATER.
