Aveta Hotel Malioboro

Centrally located on Jogja’s main drag (Malioboro), this lobbyless hotel offers comfortable rooms at a decent price. The staff is friendly, and the breakfast room on the building’s top floor offers beautiful city views, as well as a bar and a swimming pool, which we did not use.

A soul-less eatery on the ground floor serves as the hotel’s lobby. The room’s furnishings are far from extravagant, the view from the window featured a brick wall one meter away, somewhat claustrophobic…

The property was clean and comfortable.

It was super noisy. The hotel faces the street where a traffic light is located. It is super noisy as it makes sound every time someone presses it. So if you are sensitive to noise it is not the best option.

-Excellent location. In the heart of Malioboro & next to Malioboro mall. -Friendly & helpful staff. -Good breakfast option. -Comfortable beds & good room services & food.

- Our quad room is located next to a machinery either a laundry/dishwasher or water pipe which you can hear the rumbling/humming/bubbling noise whole night. It’s a bit annoying & make the stay less comfortable. - Small lobby & drop off spot. - Need 200k IDR deposit (cash, since they refuse d to use our overseas visa debit card)

Pleasant atmosphere, but hotel did not meet our needs, we asked for extra bed, they were overcharging us despite already having a booking

Electricity in the room only works when the electronic key card is inserted. • When the power is off, the room quickly becomes hot and extremely humid, creating conditions that promote mold and mildew growth. • The high humidity caused the linens and bed sheets to feel damp and uncomfortable, which is unacceptable for a hotel stay. • The bathroom was poorly maintained, with visible mold in the shower area. • Overall cleanliness was lacking; the floor did not appear to be regularly or properly mopped.
