Dar Houdou

Dar Houdu es un lugar que recomendaría a todos los que vienen a visitar Fes. La ubicación es fantástica, el lugar ni que hablar! Una casa antigua ,excelentemente conservada y decorada con muy buen gusto. Si bien la habitación no es muy grande, fue un lugar más que agradable y cómodo para estar. El desayuno riquísimo y abundante . Su encargado Mohamed, nos ha atendido de maravilla, dándonos recomendaciones útiles y ayudándonos con algún traslado. Vale aclarar que todo lo que se contrata desde el hotel siempre es más caro que si uno lo contrata de forma particular. Dicho esto estamos muy contentos con el lugar y sin dudas lo recomendamos!

The staff, the location (v quiet and central, very close to Blue Gate and in the middle of two main streets) , the decoration of the room, everything is perfect plus rich breakfast, especially it seems they only have 2-3 rooms in this small Dar, so it is not crowded , highly recommended

The bathroom design has some minor issues, the water will soak the entire floor in bathroom, which is a bit inconvenient. Even with the fan on, the water doesn't dry out overnight, and the floor remains wet, a mat provided will be better

Breakfast was good, no real proteins though, location was decent, right in the medina

That I had to run around for an hour to find an ATM to pay them directly instead of thru booking.

Dar Houdou is an absolutely clean establishment and great care has been taken with the furnishings and decor which give a Moroccan ambiance. The bed was the most comfortable we have slept in during our travels and the proprietor had even provided an electric blanket as well as a hot water bottle to use if needed. Our breakfast was outstanding, with fresh orange juice and specially-made pancakes and assorted cakes, excellent coffee and plenty of fresh bread and cheese. We would especially like to thank our host, Mohammed, who met us to assist in the medina to lead us to Dar Houdou. He was very kind to us during our stay and we appreciated his help and friendliness. I recommend Dar Houdou 100% - you will enjoy your stay there.

Everything was perfect.

The Dar was located in the heart of the Medina. Perfect spot from which start exploring the old city. Very quiet and clean. Amazing breakfast included in the price. The Dar manager, Mohamed was very responsive and attentive to any request.

I would add a mirror to the room in the terrace, as there was no big mirrors except for the small toilet mirror above the sink.

Good and plentiful breakfast. Mohammed was welcoming and helped us with everything we needed. He also managed for us the tour of Fes with personal driver. Super! Air conditioner in the room very helpful. Comfortable bed.
