Hilton Denver City Center

WARNING!!! DO NOT stay at this hotel unless you are either with extremely close family members or staying alone. There are literally no bathroom doors, only a sliding partition that is purely decorative and serves no function at all whatsoever. There are significant gaps on all four sides which leave absolutely no sound proof (or odor proof) for the sake of your privacy. There is no option to use the bathroom fan since there is not one and turning on the water from the sink didn't help because it flowed out of the faucet softly which did not help to mask any sound, Hilton should be ashamed for sacrificing the dignity and privacy of their guests just to save money on the expense of regular doors that at the bare minimum should be a given and expectation in a hotel of this caliber. I never in a million years would have thought to have to ask when making a reservation if there were actual doors to the bathroom separating the rest of the room. This was a weekend that I had really been looking forward to and the only memories I will have from staying here on the top floor of this "nice" hotel will be how awkward and embarrising it turned out to be. Every single slightest bodily function could be heard and I am appalled how this is accepted as a norm in a Hilton hotel. It is beyond me how this design was ever even approved to be used and built in the first place. It certainly wasn't "tested" by any type of management for they would never subject themselves to this practically uncivilized situation. I can't imagine this hotel would have any repeat guests unless it was a person staying on their own. I know I won't be returning and will be sure to let others know the situation if they are contemplating a stay at the Hilton Denver City Center. There are plenty of other options downtown that would certainly be a much, much more pleasant experience and that is an understatement indeed! I still can't believe that hard-earned money was wasted on such an abysmal experience that was meant to be a rewarding weekend getaway. I would have been better off staying at home and sparing myself the expense and embarassment! Never again!!

This review is for the hotel restaurant called Prospect’s Urban Kitchen & Bar. Yesterday I had breakfast there and ordered coffee and the Estes Park Omelet that comes with a side of breakfast potatoes from my server Monika. The food arrived in a timely manner and hot. The omelet tasted great with the fresh vegetables and elk sausage and so did the potatoes. Server Monika did a magnificent job! She was professional, knowledgeable, communicated well, very attentive, and had a great positive attitude. Highly recommend the restaurant, the Estes Park Omelet, and server Monika!

My experience at the hotel was far below the Hilton standard. The front desk staff seemed unprepared and not attentive to basic situations, which was especially disappointing considering that I am pregnant. We arrived at 11:30 AM, and even though the room was already ready, I was charged $59 for early check-in, which made no sense given the room’s availability. They also charged $3 for each bottle of water in the room — something that, in hotels of this category, is usually complimentary. Another unpleasant surprise was the $15 fee to receive a package, even though I was already staying at the hotel. This is unreasonable and gives the impression that the hotel is prioritizing unnecessary charges over guest comfort. The only positive aspect was the housekeeping team, who were professional and efficient. However, the rest of the staff fell short, showing little training and a lack of care for the guest experience. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel and do not intend to return.

Great hotel for business meeting. Staff was great and accommodating, hotel was spotless. Only complaint is you can hear the noise from the city even on high floors. Great location, felt safe.

Nice hotel,my room (King bed,high floor,city view -1209)was comfortable clean and spacious.The hotel is modern and the location is excellent for business. This hotel doesn't offer a complimentary breakfast but being a Hilton Honor Diamond member, i received a daily dining credit ($15/day) that i could use in the hotel/room service. There is a few bars/restaurants and stores within walking distance ,there is a Target and the convention center is 5 min away.The movie theater is close too. All the employees are very nice and helpful. The only snag was the noise.I could hear my neighbors leaving their room,the maintenance using some leaves blower and the housekeepers cleaning early in the morning and even banging my door "housekeeping" the last day even though i paid for a late checkout! ***They also took my "privacy please" sign off my door during my stay and cleaned my room.

Great date night atmosphere, manhattan was amazingly prepared. Frank is an amazing bartender that kept the sports talk exciting and the drinks full
