Kawan Antique Ubud Villa

The solitude, quiet atmosphere, and quaint countryside were lovely.

The only downside was accessibility to the facilities and distance from Ubud center.

the outside pool area was lovely and very picturesque

the outside chair cushions desperately need changing they had black and green algae growing on them. Also the pool area had little to no sun so wasn’t very good for sun bathing. the villa and bathroom were very dark - on an evening it was really hard to see anything as the lighting was insufficient. an other thing to note is the nearby village is apparently called cockerel village - which made a lot of sense as each morning we were woken up at 4am by them all - bring ear plugs!! overall a little disappointed with out stay here

Excellent property. It was a palatial villa with all modern facilities and private swimming pool. Service was very good. They had an attendant stationed at the villa from 7 am to 9 pm. After 9 pm, the manager was available on call and attended to our request. We also did in room spa which was a great experience. Card payments are accepted.

Location is very bad as it is faraway from city center and secluded. No view from the villa. There is no attendant at the villa after 9 pm. You will not see a single person around the villa at night. It is recommended to stay in Bisma area in Ubud as it is very near to city center with all cafes and restaurants around.

The villa was private and peaceful surrounded by lovely countryside. We loved waking up to roosters and falling asleep to music from the temple in the distance. The staff at this family run business are all delightful and were very helpful organizing bike hire, activities and airport transfers. The shuttle to Ubud centre was very useful.

The road to get to the villa is quite the adventure!

We like that it was private and loved our pool flowers we arranged for our honeymoon. The staff were super friendly and helpful, we had access to a shuttle once each day to drop and pick us up in ubud cbd. We were very happy with the location as its about 15 minits drive from ubud cbd and 15 minits drive from the rice fields. Was a lovley secluded place to stay perfect for our honeymoon.

The driveway was a bit tight, steep and long it wasn't walkable. Thankfully none of the grab and shuttle drivers had an issue with driving this part.

Bit hard to get to but the transport provided was very good.

Amazing staff. Special thanks to Soma and Gday who looked after us very well. The villa is located in a very scenic area with amazing scenery. It is surrounded by nature. They refilled us with fresh fruit every morning. The pool is a decent size. Would definitely stay again.

The road leading to the property is very narrow and i would therefore recommend only using the shuttle service from the villa itself
