Hotel Nilde

Comfortable bed, good bathroom, clean room

I can't get super sweet and carby breakfast. English breakfast as an option would be great.

Hotel Nilde is a basic but comfortable hotel, a short walk from the center of Scanno. The rooms are small but efficient and incredibly clean. The small staff (husband and wife?) is accommodating. The only issue was they put us in a room with non-working A/C, though when we pointed it out they did offer to change our room. In any event the weather was cool that night. The small restaurant serves homey, tasty meals at a good price. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, consisting only of breads and pastries - no fruit or eggs. Parking is on the street, and though we found a spot a few feet from the hotel, some travelers might have to park farther away.

My family and I had a great stay here while we visited Scanno. About a 10 minute walk into the old town and a 1 minute walk to a children’s playground. Parking was free along the road too. The host was so friendly and professional. Despite the language barrier was eager to make sure we had a great experience. Our breakfast table was waiting for us in the morning - and the service and food was excellent!

Buone la pulizia e la cortesia nell’accoglienza. La camera singola in cui ho soggiornato è migliorabile, a cominciare dalla mancanza di un comodino e della luce notturna.

Went for a family reunion and booked too late to stay with rest of family at hotel on the hill. Lucky for us Nilde turned out to be fantastic. Cleaner and in better condition than I expected. Nice view of the village. Great location, you can walk up to main square and pass by the grocery store, if you need water, snacks etc. We parked on the road. It is also a quick drive or nice walk to Lake Scanno. Mario was very nice. We do not speak italian but with the help of google translate, we managed just fine. We would stay here again.

Premetto che ho passato solamente una notte nella struttura. Buon albergo, personale cordiale, stanza accogliente e pulita, unico nota stonata la mancanza quasi totale di detergenti per la pulizia personale che normalmente si trovano nel bagno. Per il resto tutto ok.
