The location

Well the things i didn’t like that i shows in the pic that had a hot tub it shows a bar those were the main reasons i pick this hotel shows paddling boats and all that is all destroyed

The staff was amazing and so helpful and friendly, that is where my satisfaction ended. The first room had a terrible smell, I was moved to a better one but was still dirty, run down with scratchy sheets and uncomfortable beds. Would not return

This place should be condemned. Very outdated with a serious mold issue. Lots of broken stuff. Was very disappointed as I chose this place to stay for my son’s wedding. Would never recommend to my worst enemy and would never book here again if it were the last place standing.

"Most Haunted hotel ever experienced! Its different when you have a toddler to vouch for it!"

The most Haunted Hotel I ever experienced!!! I have stayed in Salem Hawthorne... This hotel has history!!! It is powerful! It needs some pool renovation and to update that there is no hot tub. My child loved swimming and the rooms were beautiful. The fact that my child and I both experienced some spiritual activities were something to take home and write about. I domt see this hotel on the haunted hotels tours but at 1am... I was woken up.... By 5am me and my daughter were walking out the door packed!!! Hahaaaaaa

The staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds were nice with a view of the lake.

I imagine this was a wonderful place to stay years ago. Was told that the restaurant and bar would NOT be open on a Friday night - perhaps because there were not enough guests booked in the resort. Rather odd smells throughout, could not tell if it was musty, moldy, or from what signage described as renovations.

I booked a room for 5 people only had two small beds, 1 person had to sleep on the floor. Only had two towels in the bathroom for us. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. Wifi was terrible, only one channel worked on the TV. Ceiling tiles falling down in the bedroom entry way. Pool was smaller than it looked in the pictures. Room didn’t have a refrigerator in it.
