La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham New Orleans Airport

It seemed clean. It was at a good location and there were plenty of places to eat, find groceries or a pharmacy. The room seemed clean. The air was cool, so the room was comfortable. Breakfast was okay If you want waffles. There was warm sausage, lots of coffee, juices, no milk except for maybe some in an open container for a cereal or whatever.

the biggest complaint I have is a microwave and or a refrigerator. So, bringing an ice chest is the way to go if you're going to stay or keep drinks cool. This is an old multi-story hotel. The ice machines cannot be guaranteed to work. However, I could travel to the floor above or below me to get ice. But my floor did not have it working ice maker. There is a microwave downstairs on the first floor in the cafeteria. It works fine but the convenience is lost. The next worst thing is that the bed was extremely rigid VERY uncomfortable to sit on the edge of the bed. If one is handicapped, like me, you will not be able to roll out of the bed and or suffer a lot of pain on the edge of the bed. It was supposed to be a room for handicapped, but it was far from being conducive for a handicapped individual. The shower is a full tub with some handles, but slippery. The shower curtain did not keep the water away from the floor because it's just a very thin cloth. I'm not sure I trust the carpet. Might be time for tiling or other type of hard flooring. My white socks were kind of dirty after walking on the carpet all night.

Front door staff was great. There were no more positives.

Arrived after the check in time just to be told the room was not ready and that we needed to leave and come back. There was only one working elevator. At 1am there was yelling in the hallway and people being loud in the parking lot as well. The cleanliness of the room was also a reason for concern. The sheets on one the the beds had yellow stains(unable to sleep in the bed), the carpet was filthy with stains.

Location great. Hotel room bathroom and shower were absolutely disgusting and unclean.

Hotel room bathroom and shower were disgusting. Shower head mechanism did not work so I could not shower. AC whistling so loud and at high pitches.

The bed was very comfortable.

I didn't like the fact that I wanted this hotel because of the pool and the gym I was unable to work out in the gym because the machines did not work I also was unable to swim because the pool needed maintenance the breakfast was unacceptable there was no need or hash browns to eat the only thing was cold boiled eggs that we were not allowed to warm up and waffles but they did not have any syrup to eat the waffles with and last but not least there were a lot of police that pulled up to the front desk for police cars came to the building I don't know for what reason but that made me very uncomfortable we also had a bug in the room that we had to kill
