L'accueil sympathique. La terrasse sur le toit très agréable.

Chambre exiguë. La piscine qui est plutôt un jaccuzi. Moins bien entretenu que sur les photos.

"La Desirade, our dream island"

We really loved our short stay in La Desirade, definitely planning to visit here again. Hotel Oasis is a beautiful 'boutique' hotel within walking distance from the harbor, the beach, the restaurants and the shops. You could clearly see that the owner really wants to take a good care of the hotel and its surroundings. Room was clean, there is refrigerator and wifi was ok. There are water tanks to prevent water outages. Plated breakfast is available for 10 euros/person. Outside the hotel, recommending La Payotte for lunch and Lagranlag for dinner. Rent a vehicle to go around the magnificent island.

Service hours are limited - mainly around breakfast and ferry times. There are no lunch or dinner options at the hotel itself. We stayed in upper floor room which was very compact, couldn't believe it's 25 m2. Swimming pool is more like a plonge pool.

"Un hotel correct pour passer une nuit à la Désirade"

Un des seuls hôtels de l'ile. C'est plutôt un hôtel basique type Une ou Deux étoiles. Propre, mais déjà d'un certain age, usé. La piscine n'a aucun intérêt : taille d'une baignoire. Chambre assez petite avec frigo et clim. Bon petit déjeuner (10 €). Accueil sympathique. Situé très proche du port de la Désirade et de la plage de Fifi. Pour passer une nuit sur l'ile et profiter des magnifiques plages (celle du Souffleur), c'est OK ! A noter qu'un scooter (ou vélo électrique, pas disponible) est recommandé pour visiter l'ile, mais la logistique des loueurs (max : 3, dont 1 fermé et 1 avec que des scooters en panne) de la Désirade est très erratique et fantasque !!!

Une modernisation radicale de l'hotel serait la bienvenue !
