InterContinental New Orleans by IHG

Great location in New Orleans. Very nice hotel and the concierge was extremely helpful in assisting us with getting around to the places we wanted to see. The front desk staff was also very pleasant and accommodating. The noise level was a bit high with the street car going back-and-forth in front of the hotel, and we were on the 12th floor. I originally booked directly through the hotel with a fee of just under $400 for the one night, two queen beds. I ended up canceling that reservation because I was able to secure the same room through trivago for$136 for the one night. I would stay at an Intercontinental again, but would definitely booked through a booking site instead of directly through the hotel site.

It’s just a different experience at a 4-5 star hotel than your normal destination. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel special. To say that the staff went above and beyond would be an understatement, and the hotel manager being so accessible, working from a laptop all around the lobby was a great touch. It was clear that he was and wanted to be in tune with the guest’s experiences.

Good location near the French Quarter

They took a deposit from my credit card, which I know is routine…. However, it’s now 3 weeks later and I’m still waiting for the hold on my credit card to be released… This should not be acceptable

Perfectly located on the St Charles streetcar line and within walking distance of major restaurants like Luke, August, and Bon Temps Prime Rib(!). The rooms are spotless and spacious. The crowning achievements are the waitresses and waiter in Pete’s, the omelette chef, and the excellent buffet breakfast that even includes powdered sugar coated beignets. From Shorty at the front door to the always helpful concierge desk lady, this is a highest quality hotel filled with a staff who love to help people make their stay in New Orleans a perfect experience.

Great location. The staff and concierge was helpful to help us tour New Orleans. Accomodations were outstanding. We heard from other guests that Pete's was an excellent restaurant; however, we chose to test local restaurants close to the hotel that were plentiful to select from within walking distance. We were also impressed on how smoothly the hotel worked with our cruise line.

The rooms are spacious. The views from the balcony are amazing. The pool and spa were ideal. I will definitely return. Trenasse is now one of my favorite dining places.

Great hotel with excellent facilities, front desk staff really helped us as our luggage didn't arrive. they offered advise and some free toiletries to put us on with when we arrived

Pillows in the room are too soft - personal preference. everything else in the room and hotel was fab
