Hotel Intercontinental Cali by IHG

I stay here quite frequently, whenever my international travel brings me to Cali. I have been coming for 15 years. Its location and the quality of its food is unparalleled.

I’m afraid the level of service has collapsed. Staff are very hard-working, friendly and courteous. However, it is evident that the restaurants and bars are severely understaffed. In the two days I was here, I used the restaurant (terrace) and bars (terrace and indoor) five times. Believe it or not, each time I was kept waiting to be acknowledged and to have my order taken for about 20 minutes. In fact, on one occasion, I just left and went to find a place outside the hotel. I’m not complaining type, but I think the management needs to know that their apparent cuts, or at least unwillingness to invest in sufficient restaurant staff, is not going unnoticed by regular customers. And the poor staff are keeping very professional face, remaining calm under pressure, but evidently being worked double (yet losing tips as well because frustrated customers will not tip or may even walk out). I’m saying this and I hope that management will take the count of this perception and reimbursement in their staff numbers. This is a top hotel charging top rates and the focus should be on quality of service, not trying to extend the bottom line that little bit more. Of course, overheads are a challenge to all hotel business businesses, that your brand and USP is service and quality and needs to be maintained! I reiterate, the staff are excellent and I have no complaints about them - there are just to view in the restaurant and bar areas, running around under pressure!

Buen desayuno, habitaciones confortables, todo limpio y buen servicio

Por 560mil y no incluye desayuno. Eso es un mal detalle
