Budget inn

We stayed here out of desperation (other local places were full) and it was getting late. The reception area was depressing and the owner/manager equally so. Walls had been 'nicely' decorated with childrens crayons and cleaning materials were everywhere which was quite surprising as the room we were given was dark and dirty. Cobwebs all round, stained and old bed covers with holes in. It was the sort of place you do not want to take your clothes off in before going to bed. The only saving grace was the bed was quite comfy!

When made a call to reserve room was told that it has internet and pool, well when got there the pool had no water and weeds grew up around it , then we asked about the internet and was told that it had been cut off , the rooms was so dirty the second day there went and asked for clean towels to get informed that they dont do room service and u have to bring your dirty towels to them then they will give u clean towels, they also have people that rent rooms from month to month and they partied all night in the parking lot and look threw your windows , will never stay there again and dont recomend it to anyone, want a nice motel go to greenwoods inn .

When u wake up trying to Google the owners info to complain u probably have a major issue right? We have been ringing the phone to the front desk since three am. We had a loud pop sound at three am and woke to no power in our bedroom. Four kids w no power now awake. So needless to say its seven thirty we have been banging and calling and just got help w the power issue. Just not really plzed at this point maybe it will get better?

This was a small Motel but very clean. The staff was very helpfull and friendly . The rooms were small but nice the beds were nice and comfortable. The towels were big and soft the showers were clean and the water is HOT . I will stay there again .

When I first arrived in the room, I was greeted to the stench of urine. Apparently, this is a pet-friendly motel. I turned on the air-conditioning and left for the evening. When I came back, the smell seemed to have decreased for the most part. The room was small; the desk was taken up by the microwave and refrigerator. There was a coffee maker and coffee, but only one small styrofoam cup and no cream, sugar or stirrer. The toilet ran off and on all night. There are gaps around the door that let light and humidity in (it was very humid in the room all night even with the a/c). I had to wedge the window curtain against the wall with the only chair to keep it closed. The towels & sheets were clean, but all had holes in them. The bed was comfortable. There was no clock, no place to hang clothes. The shower was clean and the water was hot. Breakfast was ridiculous: I was told it was from 8-10, although the hand-written signs said 7-9. I get over there at 8 and the main lobby is locked with no one inside. By 8:15, there are 5 of us outside, ringing the bell and wanting breakfast. Finally, someone lets us in (apparently someone didn't show for work). There is coffee and 2 cups, cereal but no milk. Finally, the woman behind the desk (who had a real attitude problem) gets some packs of muffins and danish to put out. I down a danish and leave. I pack my things into the car and come back to the lobby to turn in my key. They've already put the breakfast items away. Stay away from here.

I travel for my work, and usually bring with me what I need to make any hotel stay tolerable. But this place is a real challenge! The front desk clerk was very nice. That is the only good thing I can say about this place. OK well and the television works. They have WIFI but it's unreliable and slow. The room itself has a bed, nightstand, and chest of drawers with a TV and microwave on it. Tiny fridge sits on the floor. There is not a chair, desk, table, that's it. Bed, nightstand chest, period. And some disgusting FLIES. There is no closet, nor anywhere in the room to hang clothing - aside from a towel rack - shower curtain rod? broken!). Among the towels in the bathroom were a couple that looked like filthy car wash rags. The carpet is covered with stains. The bed is a couple of mattresses on a wooden platform with a "headboard" barely attached to the wall. The whole room is deeply filthy and disgusting. Way more than a call to the front desk could fix! And I don't think it's the blame of the housekeeping staff, either. Clearly the owner does not care to maintain any standard of cleanliness or basic accommodation at this place. There are no chains on the doors which open directly to the outside, and I can see thru gaps in the door jamb around the lock where it looks like it's been pried open multiple times (no light in photo, as it was taken at 3am). I brought in my camp chair and table so I could work. I am basically "camping" in this room with my own bed linens and towels. If this is the result of the 2011 renovation the owner claims to have completed in response to another bad review, I would hate to think what it was like before! The AC unit looks pretty new and that does work, but...just...wow what a nasty place. The only major chain hotel in town was booked up, and I can see why they suggested I drive 20 miles to Tuscumbia rather than stay at this place next door.

This place shouldn't even fly a corporate banner of ANY hotel chain. Upon check in we discovered the room had NO desk NO chairs and even worse NO place to hang our clothes, not even a hook on the back of a door. NO hair dryer, NO coffee maker...the things one expects to find at ALL hotels. The one bath towel had holes in it and strings hanging from the side...I showered and dried myself with a hand towel. The place was dingy and had an overall nasty feel to it. Stay in your car it would be more comfortable than this place.
