The hotel had been updated and there looked to be work still being done. The facility was very clean, staff very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was good but lacked some of the variety I have had at other hampton inn hotels.

I was not expecting to have an outside door to my room. We had an interior and exterior room. The desk attendant was on the phone with a friend or family when we arrived, but she tried to get off the phone quickly. Things felt fairly clean, but I could tell that the corners of the floor head collected dust debris.

Baby cockroach in the mini fridge and baby cockroach in one of the queen beds. Property is old with old furniture and cabinets. I have no idea how this property has a 9.0 rating.
