A basic, good value place in expensive Oxford. Right opposite the bus stop (out), with frequent buses to the centre (ask for Three Mile Lane stop, opposite Wolvercote Cemetery). Currently being repainted, with new wallpaper. The room had a kettle, large, clean towels, basic soaps, TV, and a couple of hangers in the wardrobe. Single, comfortable bed and black out curtains. Great hot shower. Clean shower and toilet (shared in my case, but there are other en suite rooms).

Don't expect luxury! The bed could use a bedside light. The shower, although clean, was a bit mouldy (tip to owner: invest in Cillit Bang mould remover spray). The shower mat (towel) needs replacing. Make sure you are clear about your heating needs - the manager was willing to heat the room all night, but I told him I would like my heat to be turned off at 10 PM, and then forgot to say I would like it turned on again in the morning! I didn't see anyone in the morning before I left at 8:30. No breakfast there or nearby, but you could probably have cereal in your room. My room faced the main road, but it's not noisy at night.

Sink partially blocked ,- No mat to stand on after shower - water took age's to get hot - bathroom and door into room did not shut properly- CHeating only on Wed evening .not on Thursday morning- general appearance of property ie painting / decorating poor.

Toilet was not clean enough as expected and it was having block which made us a bad experience of stay.

Spacious, lovely and clean inside, very close to the bus stops, staff easy to contact where needed. The garden is also nice with plenty of seating

It's about 20 minutes from the city centre but quicker at night and the transport links are excellent so this isn't really an issue

Really comfy bed and a good location to take a short bus trip into the city centre. Easy to check in and the guy who worked there was really helpful. My only issue was the bathroom as the shower did not look like it had been cleaned recently and there was hairs on the floor of it and in the sink.

The bed was clean and comfortable. The rest was dirty, mouldy and smelly.

Good sized TV. Microwave and fridge. Not expensive. Helpful host.

The bathroom was in urgent need of some powerful cleaning agents. Cheap, mismatched furniture. Hot water tepid at best. Parking limited due to two cars for sale on the driveway.
