Amery House

We had a fantastic stay! The hosts were exceptionally warm and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms are truly impressive, very spacious, almost like presidential suites, with stylish interiors and carefully selected artwork. Everything feels thoughtfully designed and well put together. Breakfast was a highlight: a multi-course experience with several rounds of dishes, all fresh and beautifully prepared. Overall, a place with real character, great attention to detail, and outstanding hospitality. We would definitely stay here again.

Although the breakfast was superb, it took a little too much time with all the preparations and several rounds. We were a bit in a hurry and didn't expect to spend so much time eating. It might be more efficient to collect guests' preferences in advance and have hot dished (eggs) ready at the agreed time - this would make the experience smoother , especially for those on a tight schedule.

Level of service by management and staff

Thery dont prepare meals on order, alrhough we never attempted to. Maybe possible if one discussed it with them.

The space is beautiful

The owner ended up chasing us out at before we left because a friend dropped us off. At first he didn't want to let us in because he thought it was "Uber " and those are not allowed to come in the gate. Our friend sat with us for an hour. He came around saying she can't use the facilities which are sitting on the table . He was also intoxicated and he you can tell that this is micro aggressions. The further said he doesn't feel comfortable having us in this space. Which I asked why did he accept the booking knowing very well from my name that I am black.

Comfortable beds, beautiful garden and friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay, just ran out of time.

O bairro está sem luz desde janeiro de 2026. Tem luz apenas em dois momentos de 2 horas por dia (e não tem previsão de retorno). Inadmissível alugar uma acomodação sem luz e sem Internet. Entendo que, se não tem condições, não pode anunciar para locação.

HOSTS WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. You will notice from the time u arrive that only experienced owners in this type of business will be able to provide such high quality products. I will recommend to anyone. Well done to the team
