Stamford Marriott Hotel & Spa

The nicest thing about this hotel is the Club Lounge. The food was good and it was a good size lounge. I only went during breakfast but the offerings were typical but good. The rest of the hotel had this feeling of old and not in any good way. The carpets throughout the lobby gave it this very dated and depressing feeling as you walk thru the hotel and to the lobby and the rooms. It just looks very dated and beat up. The room I was in did not feel renovated.

Staff very pleasant and rooms clean. Hotel is worn looking throughout. Area has a few good restaurants across the street but otherwise not a nice area. Not worth the $25 per night parking and steep per night prices. Expect better from Marriott.

Great facility and I have stayed many times it is absolutely beautiful!! Great restaurants all around and easy access to train to New York City

It was a pleasant. quiet, comfortable, the staff was friendly. The hotel is a little dated. Could use some renovations. TV options did not work. Rattling noise coming from the AC vent. Overall it was a good stay.

Waiter was sent by President Maduro. To ask me out and ask about my nationality, imposed a conversation where i had to say about my child abduction 1985 and Prostitution. He then told the housekeeping who threw my vitamins in the trash. The manager has a distorted way of interpreting Respect and manners. There was no request for housekeeping.

My trip were excellent. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.

The Stamford Marriott seems to have hit the pause button somewhere in a past decade, offering a stay that feels more nostalgic than modern. While the staff were impressively attentive and friendly, the rooms themselves told a different story. My first room on the sixth floor came with a complimentary loud hum, like an old refrigerator trying to start a band. I switched rooms only to find the air conditioning in the new space made its own rattle and hum. Both rooms shared a musty, lived-in scent, as if the carpets had stories to tell. Compared to the crisp, contemporary standards I've experienced at other Marriott locations in major cities, this one is due for a reboot. With a bit of renovation magic, it could easily match the quality of its service team.

The front desk staff was extremely rude and disrespectful
