Great place. Excellent location. The owner Alejandra is very nice and helpful with anything you need. Great terrace to sit on and watch the sunset. Only negative is the internet can be spotty. Not the fault of the hotel just the remote nature of Celestun itself

Sadly we only had one evening here, and due to a major accident on the cuota we were three hours late. Nevertheless we completely loved our time here. The room was simple, plain, but comfortable. No hot water, but it really didn’t matter, the water temperature was comfortable enough. The owner is an angel, so nice! And you walk right out the back onto a quiet beach. Comfortable and tranquil, I would happily come back and spend more time here.

Amazing location, you enter off the beach. Located beside the lighthouse and atvthe quiter end. Alexandra was s great host and the place was immaculate. Close to restaurants and the center of town.

It was our first time to Celestun and Posada Maria Isabel is right on the beach and close to everything Celestun has to offer. Alejandra, the owner, was friendly, accommodating, and very helpful. She speaks perfect English and was always available with suggestions for tours, restaurants and everything you need to know for an enjoyable stay. The room was clean, large and comfortable. The nightly view of sunset from the balcony is not to be missed. Will definitely be back.

Friendly staff and nice decoration. There is no drinking water tank in the hotel - you have to bring your own or ask for a glass at the reception. It is 10-15 min walk from the centre. It is generally very loud (cleaning ladies, drilling, saleswoman selling tortillas just outside in the morning, busy road in front of the hotel).

From my early arrival, Alejandra made me feel so welcome and at home. If you are looking for luxury, move on, but if you are looking for warmth, hospitality, simplicity, cleanliness that meets Co-Vid standards and the perfect, affordable beach location, this it it! Within easy walking distance of the town central park, too, with friendly locals manning the local shops! Even found a laundry on the same street. Would definitely return for an extended period of time to this locally owned gem!

I walked to the address, no sign out front, spoke to a guy washing a car in the driveway who told me to go away. I was about to go to a different hotel, but went to the beach and saw an old sign there and came thru the back entry. WIFI was terrible. Hot Water is on by request. Ajejandra is the owner and was very friendly and accommodating. Perhaps when travel returns to normal, they will have everything up and running like clockwork. If you stay here, communicate with the hotel and I suspect they will provide what you need... Excellent Location. Comfortable bed and pillows Beach access Large room, but only the beds and a couple tables. Adding a desk and chair near an outlet would be a useful addition. A mat at the door to clean off your feet before entering the tiled room would be extremey beneficial

My stay at Posada Maria Isabel was charming. Our host was welcoming and helpful. The rooms are nothing spectacular, but the views and the town of celestun is beautiful.
