Whitecliff Guest House

Perfect location on the seafront, nice and central but just a little removed from the hubbub further down the Esplanade. Julia and Ian were lovely hosts, really friendly and helpful. The guesthouse is spotlessly clean and really well run and Julia and Ian have created a very warm atmosphere. Our room was spacious, comfortable and with a lovely bay window.

Friendly owners, very nice breakfast, nice little touches like a small fridge in the hallway with small pots of fresh milk, so you can make a proper cuppa tea in your room.

The building from the 1800's and a terraced home divided into rooms, the rooms I've stayed in are not massive say compared to premier inn but comftable. So the stairs are a little narrow and split level on landings etc. But not an issue for us,

Location was excellent. Friendly owners, breakfast was incredible. View out to sea at breakfast was amazing. Room was comfortable and had a free upgrade. Lovely and clean

Room was very bright in morning as curtains thin (like a dark room for sleeping) and was noisy from road traffic unfortunately. Ear plugs helped though.
