Your front desk agent, Parama Biswas, gave us exceptional service. Ms. Biswas saw to our every want or need, providing outstanding service at every opportunity. This was not a one off for her. Every day she did her utmost to take care of us. In particular, she helped us navigate Maryland’s public transit systems. On one occasion, at the end of her shift, Ms. Biswas took time away from her going home commute to help us board the local bus that took us to the Metro Station. In today’s environment, one rarely sees the care and attention Ms. Biswas gave us. She provided a level of service warranting special attention. This is why I write in the hope she will be commended. All too often these incidents go unattended. So I want to praise Ms. Biswas for an excellent job and compliment you for managing your people in such a way that motivates them to do their very best. Staff is great but it’s getting a 1 star. I am here every 3 weeks and only 1 of 3 elevators work. Do better Marriott. According to another guest they have been down for months.

The bed was comfortable. I also liked the patio atmosphere.

It was very cold in the room. My Husband and I turned the heat all the way up and it never got at the very least comfortable. I slept in my full pajamas and cardigan sweater all night. Also the refrigerator did not work and there was a coffee maker in the room BUT no coffee or coffee condiments.

Staff were very nice, location convenient to highway and to get to many DC area locations. Quite a few expensive add-ons; high daily fee for parking and an in an out parking lot system that was cumbersome; breakfast also expensive. Even to get a cup of coffee one had to do so through the restaurant. Otherwise a perfectly nice stay.

I would NOT recommend this property. It is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The lobby looks acceptable. The corridors and rooms are tired, dirty and in need of refurbishment. The room decor was modern but all the towels and bedding was marked and there were stains on the ceiling and walls. The noise was horrendous at all times of day. There was noise from the freeway, constant trains and low flying planes. This made it difficult to get to sleep. All members of staff were awful. They were not helpful. They were rude and slow. Check In was bad. Alan should not be checking in guests because he is clearly not capable of doing this. He give us wrong information. Overcharged us on the room deposit. No information on lounge or breakfast times. Just terrible. Carlos on check out was just as bad. Miserable. Not helpful. I even said my stay had been awful but it was ignored. We chose this hotel and upgraded our room for access to the M Club lounge. This was the worst M Club lounge I have experienced. The coffee machine was constantly out of order. And as for the light refreshments, all they had were bags of crisps. That’s it. We did complain about this and was told by Iris from the lounge to check out and find another hotel if we weren’t happy. We then spoke to 2 separate managers. We were told the GM would be in touch (which they never did). In summary I would never recommend or stay in this hotel again. I probably won’t stay at a Marriott hotel again.
