Omaha Marriott

Me and my dad had a great time staying in the room and the pool. My favorite part about this hotel was how the pool can go from inside to outside by just swimming under the windows. Another good thing about my stay was the very nice bartender named Adam he helped me with my dinner and was very nice to me and my dad.Glenn and Luz Ma were so nice too. I can’t wait to come back.

I stay at this Marriott because it’s conveniently located in Regency near my parents’ house in Omaha. I prefer the Kimpton for a variety of reasons (better dining, decor and pool) but it isn’t nearly as convenient for me. My room was fine. It got warm at night but otherwise was standard, with basic amenities. The gym was pretty good, with new equipment and cardio machines. For a longer stay - I recommend shopping at Whole Foods and stocking up in your in room fridge. Contrary to other reviews, I found the breakfast to be mediocre and lacking in anything fresh or artisanal other than a crowded one man omelette station, Food at Heartland was okay - their burgers and quesadillas were the best things on the menu (excellent). The service is what bumps the Omaha Marriott above a 3. People who work here are genuine and kind and helpful. It’s too bad that Marriott doesn’t invest a bit more in the hardware of this property. It’s in an upscale community and deserves upgraded finishes and better dining options than the product they offer.

This hotel has very friendly employees, but the temperature in the rooms is a real issue.. the rooms are hot and you can’t control the temperature— it looks like you can, but it really doesn’t work. Everyone we were with was complaining. When I look at previous reviews this has been an issue for a long time. Invest in upgrading the HAVC.

The room was excellent. The hotel lobby and staff were very good. The outside pool needed to be cleaned. My only issue was the outside pool. A front desk guy helped me locate my parked car. I couldn’t find it.
