Castaway Island Hostel

Comfortable beds with curtains for privacy, clean bathrooms, well-maintained common areas. Nice and helpful staff, they helped me to arrange a last minute tour.

The location is close to the Mushroom Bay beach, which is a good thing, but a part pf the path to the hostel is unlit and goes through a kind of forest, so I didn’t feel comfortable walking there at night.

The staff are amazing, special shout to Deko for teaching me how to ride a motorcycle and trusting me to bring the bike back in one piece 🙂 social hostel - pool table, darts, pool etc are available. Staff cleaned daily. I loved my stay here and would come back.

The road to the hostel is rough, gravel, rocks etc a challenge even for those that have been riding for a while. Take extra care at night, especially if it rains. A bit of a walk to restaurants and shops. You need a scooter to get around the island. No grab or Gojek.

Andre, Bon Bon, Deko, and adre, are all so friendly and make you feel at home.

It was super social, nice social area as well as a pool table. On top of that the staff was super cool and makes the stay even more enjoyable! Definitely a recommendation!

Great location within walking distance from the Mushroom bay. Stuff super nice, remember you name. They lended me a blender.

Looooved this hostel! Adam, Bonbon, Andre and Deko were all really lovely and funny, creating a super fun social vibe with all the guests. They also helped me book lots of diff things. Room was comfy, ac worked well. Location is great too.
