Liked the location close to the mall everything we needed was walking distance:)

I’ve been to handful of hotels might just be the walls are made thin. I could hear people talking a shower or watching tv. A little annoying.

The place itself was charming, especially the courtyard! The pool, gym, and breakfast were very nice, as was the price. The room was clean, and the locks worked well (which is less common than some might think). However, with lodging, my priority is sleep, and I got none here. I was there for 4 nights, and was awoken TWICE at between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. by the frontload dumpsters being emptied. The boxspring is set in a metal frame that pops very loudly ANY time weight is transferred on it, which was irritating within my room, as well as from the rooms beside me and above me. The hotel's location is directly below the exact point that planes use to turn and change their flight direction, so there is plane noise day and night. Something else to consider is that contractors stay here during the week while they work nearby, so they wake up early and congregate in the parking lot, talking loudly and hawking countless morning loogies (appetizing). I had to make a complaint to the front desk about the person upstairs making excessive noise, and since I didn't at any point hear the phone ring (we could hear above us very clearly), I can only assume that they never got the request to keep it down. They continued to make noise until around 3 a.m., and did this the last 2 of the 4 nights during my stay. I really wish that management had handled it. Another curiosity was that the powered parking lot gate has a key card slot for added security, but it still opens without it. While this made for more expedient parking, the broken gate on the farthest end of the parking lot (where our room was) made for awkward exiting, since it's a narrow one-way parking area that you have to turn around in. Overall, the room made for a more frustrating and exhausting stay, during what was already a stressful visit to Fresno. Wouldn't recommend to anyone but the deepest sleeper, who isn't opposed to paying for early check-in, should the need arise. Late update: Come to find out that being a rewards member should have included perks that I was not made aware of during my stay. The staff did seem bit young and inexperienced, so that makes sense.

I absolutely hated the key cards. Every single time we basically left the room we had to get the keys scanned again because they would not work. We were on the other side of the hotel so it was extremely annoying
