Bangor Grande Hotel

Where do I start? Don’t stay here. It’s old and doesn’t look like anything has been updated in decades. Worn dirty looking carpets with cigarette burns in them. No coffee in room. Coffee ‘station’ by front desk is disgusting with creamer dispensers dripping with encrusted cream on them. Stained sinks. Paper thin walls. No elevator and the place is like a maze of dilapidated ruin.

Morgan at the front desk is extremely friendly & accommodating. We will be back because of their hospitality!!!

Everything was exceptional.

We absolutely love this hotel! The beds are very comfortable, it has a great location, reasonable prices, and the highlight is the on-site restaurant and bar. With live music weekends and tasty food, it's a fantastic spot. We stayed here before and will definitely return in the future!

My husband and I stayed here last summer and loved it so much we didn't consider any other hotels. Previously, I would have rated this hotel a 10/10, but this time I only rated it 8 because the woman at the front desk was somewhat rude and not very helpful. The gentleman who checked us in was excellent. However, the next morning, when we came down for breakfast and wanted to ask about a late check-out to enjoy our meal without rushing, she said, "it's only 9:30," without mentioning that we could check out a bit later. The restaurant was busy, and we didn't return to our room until 10:45, so we ended up checking out a little late. We left by 11:30, but housekeeping was already knocking, despite our request for a late check-out, which we had anticipated. I felt she could have been more helpful and welcoming. Nevertheless, we love this hotel and restaurant and plan to return. Hopefully, next time, we'll have a different front desk staff member.

The staff was excellent and very friendly. The pool was great as well.
