Holiday Inn Kearney by IHG

We had a great time at this stop along our road trip, would definitely stay here again!

A welcome place to land after 12 hours of driving. We arrived much later than planned - close to midnight - but received a friendly and efficient greeting and a quick change of rooms that made it easier to bring in our large amount of luggage. 24 hour shop, Keurig in basic but very clean and comfortable room, breakfast, and location within easy reach of freeway, gas, and a Starbucks made this a great choice for night one of a cross-country drive.

The stay was wonderful. The free breakfast every morning was amazing! So much delicious hot food, cold food, pasteries and fruit. So many choices and it changed every day!The water slides were fantastic. An added bonus was a gelato shop with the best Italian gelato flavors. Yum! The location was wonderful and the hotel was beautiful and very clean. Also a 24/7 lobby store. Highly recommend!

The staff is understanding I was a performer at an event and my car broke down and it's in the shop they help me and understood my situation and they help me and daughter out with another night stay i highly thank and appreciate y'all for your hard work and understanding I will be visiting next and having a little bit more arrangements settle before I come 🔥🫡❤️

Staff is great and location

Clean modern hotel. Beautiful hotel rooms! Everything so lovely. We were in the pool wing which was fine as we have kids who had a blast on the water slides. What a fantastic idea. So much fun and great memories there. Only downside is we were there with a sports team and the kids were knocking on our door through the night and at one point were hitting oranges with a baseball bat down the hall. Orange was all over our door. We called reception and they dealt with it straight away. Greta breakfast. So impressed with this holiday inn. Highly recommend.

Great little Waterpark to let the kids run off all the energy they stored while traveling 12+ hours. Great big rooms!!

We were there on a Sunday night and had time to swim Monday morning before check out. This location has been there longer than I can remember as I grew up in Kearney and can honestly say it has only improved in time which I find is usually the opposite in most cases. The staff was welcoming and the breakfast was perfect!

This 5 STAR RATING is for our August 2025 stay at the Holiday Inn, Kearny, NE. We have been staying at this hotel since 2016, specifically because of its water park, which my grandson has enjoyed since age 3. Over the years you would expect the room and water park conditions to deteriorate - - but this excellent hotel has continually reinvested in the upkeep of the facility. Honestly, we thought the water park had either just replaced all the equipment with brand new & identical items (adult and child slides, pools, and child climbing figures) or they had some way to repaint them. The included free breakfast had more options than normally expected (and the staff kept the place very clean - - immediately cleaning and wiping off the tables as soon as the people left). All the staff were very accommodating and pleasant. I’m a little worried that by giving such a glowing recommendation that I might have a problem being able to get a reservation in the future.
