Clarion Inn Silicon Valley

The bereakfast was very nice provide many options and a great selection of Teas. The staff was accomidating. The bed was comfortable. The building was very nice. I felt secure.

The screen on the windows had holes in them. The first room I was in the Lights, phone and clock between the beds did not work and the bathroom door had "gooey harden stuff" on it and hair on the bathtub. They could not fix the lights and phone so I was given another room, which was clean and everything worked but the window screen had holes.

Nothing.

The ants all over the room and bed. Was unable to talk to a manager cause it was the weekend. They gave us another room with ant all over it. I have sent emails and there is no response. Horrible place, service, experience.

The room are very clean and well appointed! The bath room was well provided with necessary supplies. Slept well as the area is very quiet in spite of being along a main street. Parking is great!

Was told it will take 7 days for my deposit to be refunded. We will see!

Breakfast was good as can be expected for this priced range of hotel. The linked sausages were good; the scrambled powdered eggs were not.

The toilet in our room would occasionally refill because there was probably a slow leak in the tank seal. I wish I had notified the receptionist at the front desk.

I liked the breakfast, the cheese omelettes were very good, however, the powdered eggs were only tolerable and sometimes wet. The coffee was good as was the orange juice. I liked the quietness of my room and the a/c unit. I liked the high level of cleanliness and the thick towels and the nice bed linens, pillows, blanket and comforter. I liked the carpet flooring and the light blocking curtains. The bathroom fixtures were high quality as were the tiles and trim. I liked the ample hot water supply. I liked the comfortable bed. Although I couldn't take advantage of them, there are a limited number of covered parking spaces with 3 reserved for the handicapped, however there is ample non covered parking. I liked the nice, larger than usual fridge. The wi-fi worked well.

I did not like that the microwave turntable did not work, but what I disliked the most was that they knew it was broken and did NOT swap it out with a working one from one of the many vacant rooms. How do I know that they knew it was broken? The drive mechanism was completely missing. I did not like that in the online photos they showed a clothes washer and dryer. When I went looking for them, turned out to be only for hotel use. What made this so impactful on me is that I anticipated doing my laundry there as I was totally dependent on Uber for transportation. Had to wear dirty clothes for a few days until I returned home.
