B&B La Casa Di Tocco

Perfect location in a cosy little village. Room very clean and tidy. Breakfast was a bit on the sweet side, but I guess it is just us Danes preferring some cheese and solid bread :-)

Nothing to dislike except the rain, but you can't blame the host for that ;-)

The house was beautiful and incredibly maintained. The location was a quiet and friendly village. We felt very comfortable in this house. Since we were tired we decided to find a little grocery store and bring food back to cook. Af first we felt like people looked at us suspiciously but we learned it was more curiosity. When we went into the markets, the keepers were so friendly and tried so hard to speak English to us. Great experience! So much history in that little area. We enjoyed walking around the village. Parking was very easy. Luigi, the host, dropped in several times to see if we needed anything but he did not stay at the apartment.

At first we were unsure of how we felt regarding other guest also staying in the apartment. Four young men arrived shortly after us and we were concerned about noise etc. They were perfect guests for a B&B. The only time we saw them was when they entered the home and walked up to their rooms. Our problem for prejudging the situation. Plus all bedroom doors locked.

Lovely property with everything you need for a nice stay.

Hot water for shower was inconsistent.

Excellent location and manager／owner was very accommodating. Clean room and nice bathrooms which are private.

The only issue ro be aware of is language. English only speakers may have some difficulty in the area as English is not a common language in the area and is not spoken by the owner who speaks French an Italian. But these are observations and not complains. No complaints at all.

Plenty of food got breakfast and it was available all day!

The B&B was very clean and comfortable. Luigi was friendly and helpful.

The room was lovely, clean and had a great view of the town. A special shout out to the owner as he went beyond the normal service by very kindly driving us to the train station early in the morning to ensure we didn't miss our train. And we did catch the train on time :-)

It's one of those small "sleeper" B&B's on a nondescript street in Italy. The owner has gone too much, and effective, work to make it nice, which it is. Wonderful living room with TV, plush/deep chairs, and a contiguous kitchen that rivals any we have encountered over the years. Owner also personally involved with olive oil production. Great personal tour of what they do and how they do it. A nice bonus.

The wonderful views of the mountains and town, the warm and helpful staff and the variety of offerings for breakfast.

outside the main tourist season the town has few options for people without cars. But I did learn to love the fact that I was one of the few tourists. I felt valued and learnt more of local life.
