Sanibel Island Beach Resort, located on historic Sanibel Island offers an idyllic getaway for beach lovers and shell enthusiasts alike. Nestled amidst lush greenery and just a short walk to the shell-filled shoreline, this hotel was perfect for the 20 members of the Englewood Shell Club looking for a home-base for a weekend of beach combing activities. The accommodations at Sanibel Island Beach Resort are both clean and comfortable. The rooms are spacious. Each room is equipped with modern amenities, including a flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi, and a mini-fridge, ensuring a convenient and pleasant stay. The beds are super-comfortable. The pool area had free loungers & umbrellas. There is a restaurant on the property, as well as a pool bar and a cafe. The parking at the resort is also free. Its location puts you in between 2 of the best shelling beaches on the island. It is also a convenient 10-15 minute drive to Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge and Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum and Aquarium. Our shell club thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the resort. The hotel staff was amazing to work with when arranging for a group stay. We will definitely be back next year.
