DoubleTree by Hilton Denver - Westminster

I booked a deluxe king room but was given two queen beds instead. Unfortunately, this was not what I reserved, and the experience did not meet my expectations. Since the reservation was made through a third-party site (Hotels.com), I was told the hotel didn’t have any king rooms available at check-in, even though my booking confirmed it. If you’re booking through a third party, I strongly recommend calling the hotel directly to confirm your room type in advance. Otherwise, you may end up with a different room than expected, which can be disappointing—especially for couples.

The hotel room was clean, like the sheets and bathroom but the carpet in the room needed shampooed. The night front desk lady was nice. We didnt eat at the restaurant.

I liked this hotel except for 2 things. Their cooling system is a swamp cooler so my room never got cold, only cool and humid. And the room didn't have a microwave. I won't be staying again because I need a true air conditioner, not a swamp cooler.

The room we stayed wasn’t up to par for a Doubletree Hilton or any hotel. The AC did not work and at 3am we could not sleep or beer it any longer. We had to switch rooms in the middle of the night 3 floors down to a smaller room that had a working AC, but the mini fridge did not work. No refund or reparation were offered.

Like the pool

We never ended up staying here because the room was disgusting! It was stained and smelled and there were several broken items. After a lengthy process, we were refunded. After several days we have been charged again by Hilton! Trying to get a manager on the line is impossible. Will never stay at one of these hotels again!

The property itself is nice and the rooms are very spacious. I would say overall the staff is very pleasant. The only complaint I had that I addressed while I was there for the manager to know was that I left around 11 AM one day and returned around 9:30 PM and my door was left open from the maids. I’m just thankful that nothing was taken as I had Some valuables there that did not fit in the safe. I’ve stayed there twice now and I’ll probably stay again.

Our stay was comfortable and the room was much larger than expected. Comfortable bed and pillows. A bit bare bones on decor and ambiance of the room, plus the bathroom was kind of outdated. Tub looked worn, as did countertop and the tiles on the base. Wish the lighting had been better and a full length mirror had been hung in the main area, not just in the bathroom!
